Due to illness and other complications, the Ripley Public Library Board Meeting has been postponed until Wednesday, January 4th, 2023 at 6:30 PM
Construction continues at the library; drywallers are nearing completion; interior painting will begin shortly. Contractors will return for the finishing touches of Phase I. The contractors will then begin Phase II of the project, which will include HVAC installation and the creation of a new circulation area. The transformation is remarkable!
November is overflowing at the library! Tuesday, November 16 @ 6 pm – Local Authors night welcomes Richard Maverick and Robert Alford. Thursday, November 18 @ 11 am – Office of the Aging will host a Senior Safety Program which includes fall prevention, safety tools, exercise and wellness. All are welcome!
Children’s Author Lynda Graham Barber will appear on Tuesday, April 18th, at 6 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Local Author Judy Sharer will be at the library on Tuesday, November 15th at 6 pm to discuss her book, Love – Challenged Life. The writing of her soon-to-be fourth book in her series A Plains Life is set on the wind-swept plains of Kansas in 1858-67 and has a local Pennsylvania connection.
Friday, April 26th at 6 PM, War with Grandpa Kids are welcome to bring sleeping bags or blankets and wear their jammies!
