How do I get a library card?

You will need to visit our library in person to sign up for a library card. Please bring Photo ID.

How do I login to my online account?

Login to your online account at https://catalog.ripleylibrary.org/ Your login is your library card number. If you are unsure of your password, please call the library at 716-736-3913 for assistance.

What is the Load Period for your items?

We loan out our Books and Audiobooks for 14 days.
We loan out our DVDs, Magazines, & Video Games for 7 days.

Are there any limitations to the number of items I can take out at once?

Most items are unlimited.
We allow patrons to check out out 10 DVDs at one time.
We allow patrons to check out 5 New Books at one time.

Can I renew the items I have checked out?

Yes, we allow 2 renewals on most items. We allow 1 renewal on our newest items. Renew your items in your online account or call the library at 716-736-3913 for assistance.

How do I place a hold?

You can place holds in your online account. Please call the library at 716-736-3913 if you need assistance in placing a hold.
