Nutrition with Molly

Join us every Tuesday during the month of February starting at 11 am. for a hot bowl of homemade soup to fight off the winter chill.  A variety of soups will be available at no charge as we share some great food and conversation with members of the community.  Donations gladly accepted. Everyone is welcome.

Nutritionist Molly from the Cornell Cooperative Extension SNAP-Ed program will give a class on nutrition this Thursday, June 16th at 11 am.   Be sure to join us for a fun and informative time.

Construction continues at the library; drywallers are nearing completion; interior painting will begin shortly.  Contractors will return for the finishing touches of Phase I.  The contractors will then begin Phase II of the project, which will include HVAC installation and the creation of a new circulation area.  The transformation is remarkable!

Open House Friday, March 17th, from 5:00 to 7:30 pm.  Join us for appetizers and refreshments while admiring this year’s artistic talents.  The Art Exhibit runs from March 17 –  April 1st.

Join us on Saturday, September 18, 4-7pm for the Ripley Public Library Grand Reopening!    Guest speakers and refreshments along with informal tours and the discussion of future plans for the library will all be part of the celebration.  Join us as we welcome in the long-awaited reopening.  You won’t believe the difference!

A Bean and Rice Drive will take place at the Ripley Library throughout the month of May.  Next time you’re shopping, pick up some extra bags of beans and rice and drop them off in the circulation area.  All materials collected will be donated to the Ripley Food Pantry.  Just another way of giving back…
